Welcome, Aliyah!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! It sounds like you've got a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth on the horizon, and I bet you are eager to get your logistics in place. I'm happy to fire up the pixie dust and set you on a course to the magic. Let's take a look at your question together.
As you know, Guests visiting Disneyland or California Adventure must have both a
theme park ticket and a theme park reservation. If you are receiving the message that the pass has reached its
theme park reservation limit, it's likely that there is already a reservation attached to the ticket. The good news is that if you purchased your ticket on the Disneyland website, there is a good chance you secured your reservation as part of the process when you were asked to select a date and park. I know sometimes it sounds like this is an extra step, which can be confusing. We can easily check on the
website or directly in the
Disneyland app. I like to use the app as much as possible, especially ahead of a trip, so that I become familiar with the available information and know where to find it. In this case, you would head to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and scroll to "Future Plans". This is where you will see any upcoming theme park reservations for all of the tickets currently linked to your account. I'm hopeful it's already been secured for you and you can see it right here!
If you do not see a reservation already attached to your ticket, I'd recommend calling
Guest Services, as they can see far deeper into your account than I can and would be happy to help!
I hope we've set you up for a successful day filled with churros, castle views, and a dash of pixie dust, Aliyah! As you are spending some time in the app, I recommend tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and looking through the shortcuts that pop up. The app will be your best friend while you are in the parks. It's a place to check attraction wait times, find show times,
order quick service meals and treats, and even book
dining reservations and
Lightning Lanes. The shortcuts are likely the features you will use most frequently during your visit, so it's great to get a bit of the lay of the land ahead of time so you don't waste a magical minute. There are also some fun features to take advantage of, like the
70th Anniversary Guide, along with the Designing Disney Parks video series, which is a sweet tribute to how it all began.
I'm wishing you an unforgettable visit, Aliyah! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
