Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel or other select hotels can purchase
Lightning Lan Multi Pass / Single Passes up to 7 days in advance, starting at 7 AM EST. Based on your arrival date, you can begin booking on Friday, April 3rd. We can confirm all of this with just a few steps. First, open your
My Disney Experience app. From the home screen, tap the 3 bars (≡) in the bottom-right corner, scroll down, and tap My Plans. You should see your dates at the top. Click the day of your check-in and verify that it says Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you do not see it, then click the Link Admission, Reservation, or Purchase. Tap Type ID and enter your confirmation information. Now that your resort has been added, let’s confirm that you can purchase your Lightning Lanes 7 days in advance. Go back to the home screen, then click the purchase Lightning Lane Multi-Pass/Single-Pass button. Tap your check-in date of April 10th. Next, choose any park you would like for this purchase. Let’s choose Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom Park and tap continue. On the next screen, you should see that is says Not Eligible along with everyone who is linked to your reservation or party. Next to each name, you should see the date that you can purchase your passes in advance, which should be April 3rd. If, for some reason, it does not say that, then I think your best bet is to contact
Guest Services, and a friendly cast member will be able to assist you further.
My top tip for using Lightning Lane Multi Pass is to remember that once you scan into your ride, you can book another pass while you wait in line. I would also monitor the My Disney Experience app for any rides that do not show a time slot you prefer. Guests frequently cancel their reservations, and you can then get their time slot.
