Why aren't I able to make a reservation with comp tickets that I have? Both parties (2) live in California and I can show proof. I've linked tickets and it tells me "ticket ineligible for reservation"

Welcome to planDisney, Jessica. Thanks for taking the time to drop by with your question for us. We’re so glad you’re here!

I’m excited to hear you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth soon, Jessica. After such a long closure, so many people (myself included!) are excited to return to a land of Magic! Pretty soon we’ll be able to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. again and gaze at Sleeping Beauty Castle!

Without knowing more information about your complimentary tickets (since there’re many different types), it’s difficult for me to fully provide a solution. Shortly before Covid forced the theme parks to shut down, Disneyland Resort introduced a tiered ticketing system (for single day tickets). More popular days like weekends or holidays may require a Tier 5 ticket, which is pricier and has no blockout dates. Tier 1 ticket, on the other hand, has many blockout dates but is more affordable. When Disneyland Resort theme parks reopen on April 30, 2021, Tier 1 tickets are not available for park entry (at least for the first 60 days, through June 28, 2021).

Your complimentary tickets may be ineligible during the initial phase reopening. I recommend contacting Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 and speaking directly with a Cast Member in that department who can better assist you. I sincerely hope you’ll be able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon!

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
