Does my whole party have to be together when we enter the park? Due to a couple of them have something going on during the morning, they won’t be able to join us later that day.

Welcome to planDisney, Jorge! Thanks for swinging by with your question for us. We’re so glad you’re here!

I’m delighted that you have an upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort theme parks! Now that the theme parks have finally opened up the gates after a long, unexpected closure, I bet you’re more than excited to return to a land of Magic

I love that you’re experiencing the Happiest Place on Earth as a group. When it comes to sharing the magic of Disney, I say the more, the merrier! Right, Jorge? But the hard part of visiting the beloved theme parks as a group is that everyone tends to run on different schedule! But Hakuna Matata. Your whole party does not need to enter the theme parks together. An easy way is to distribute e-tickets and QR codes from theme park reservation to the corresponding ticket holder. You can do so by sending the e-ticket PDF to other members of your group (each ticket should already have a name attached) and the QR codes. They can print it out and present those for entry to the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Alternatively, to reduce paper waste, members of your travel party can use the Disneyland mobile app to scan their e-ticket’s barcode to link the ticket to their Disney account. Just don’t forget to distribute the QR code! Each Guest will need to present both a valid park ticket and QR code at the Main Entrance turnstile for park entry. As you can see, there’s no need for all to enter at the same time.

By the way, the Disneyland mobile app is such a handy-dandy Mouseketool! You can use it to check attraction wait times, view restaurant menus, make food and beverage mobile orders and use it as a form of contactless payment. Also, Jorge, if you’re interested, the very popular and immersive Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has a virtual queue that is only accessible via the Disneyland mobile app.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Jorge. If you have more questions on planning your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to write us again. We’re all EARS!

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
