Does the whole party have to be together to get a boarding time? We are using the Disney transfer from MCO to the port, but my husband will be arriving earlier than us. Can he board with out us?

    Hi Meagan!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your excellent question! Taking Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral will get you aboard your Disney Cruise in style! We love taking Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers to and from our high-seas adventures!

Disney Cruise Line requires that each person in your stateroom party be together and present during the check-in process at the Cruise Terminal. If your husband arrives during your designated Port Arrival Time before you, he is welcome to go through security and relax in the Cruise Terminal after it opens and wait for your arrival. Then, you can all check in together and receive a boarding card with a number on it. Once your family's number is called, you will be walking down the gangway and stepping onboard your Disney Cruise!

Prior to boarding the ship, definitely stop and get a photo taken of your family by the professional photographers! This will be the first of many photo opportunities throughout your voyage. It's the perfect way to begin your adventure at sea!

Meagan, if you have any other questions, please sail back and visit us again!
