Hi Courtney,
Welcome to planDisney!
I remember when the Theme Parks first opened again back in summer 2020 after the shutdown, I was able to visit both Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It was truly special to be back in the magic!
Courtney, yes, the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks are all mostly open at this time. I say “mostly” because
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park isn’t currently available, however
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is fully open!
Via the Walt Disney World Resort website, you can look at the
hours of operation for the Theme Parks and Disney Springs, you can plan out your vacation using this
Visitors Guide, and you can select the best ticket options that work for you and your party. Now there are some experiences that haven’t returned yet (ex.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique) and some that look a little different (ex.
Character Meet and Greets), but I don’t think it takes away the fun of enjoying the Resort.
When it comes to the hotels, what type are you looking for? There are so many to explore from
Value to
Moderate to
Deluxe hotels on property. After browsing and looking at your options, I think you’ll want to book as soon as possible since your trip is in just a few weeks! One of the great things about staying on property is the fact that even when you leave the Theme Parks, you aren’t really leaving the Disney fun. Two of my all-time favorites are
Disney’s Pop Century Resort and
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, but again, take a look and see what’s the best one that fits your trip!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming vacation. If you have any other vacation or planning questions as you continue the process,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
