our whole family is staying at neighboring resorts for a big reunion, the Polynesian makes us bring MB to the pool and right now the grand Floridian doesn't require it at either pool according to cast members. Will it remain this way for our next trip?

Hey, Blake, it's great to see you here today at planDisney! It sounds like you've got a big family vacation coming up, so it's a great idea to start thinking about all the fun things you're going to do together on your upcoming vacation. Swimming is a must-do for my family at Walt Disney World Resort, so let's chat about pool access at the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels that your family will be staying at!

I can't say for sure whether pool access will change at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa before your next trip. That Resort Hotel is currently undergoing some exciting refurbishments, and we don't quite know exactly what's on the list at this time. One thing that I do want to make clear, however, is that only guests who are registered at a specific Resort Hotel are allowed to access the pools. Your family is more than welcome to come join you and enjoy the grounds, restaurants, and lounges, but they will not be able to swim in the pool of a Resort Hotel they are not staying at.

If you all want to enjoy some water time together, I recommend spending a day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! You can all swim together in the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, relax on Castaway Creek, and get your adrenaline pumping on Humunga Kowabunga. It's the perfect place to splash the day away!

I hope this answers your question, Blake, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
