Our whole family is running in events during the Disney Marathon Weekend. My five year old wants to and is completely capable of running the Mickey Mile, but doesn't wants my husband or I to run with her. Is this possible?

    Hey there!

That is great that your whole family is participating.  It's always so much more fun when everyone has their "magical" race!

Your 5 year-old can run the Mickey Mile.  What I would suggest, if she were mine, would be to let her take off, and then you could hang back toward the rear.  That way, she would be independent in her race, but you would be close by in case she fell, got scared, or anything else.  My son was 9 when he ran it without anyone, but he was running with his older cousin.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
