Hi Jennifer,
It sounds like you have a fun trip planned!
One tip is to split up the whole group every so often. It sounds like you have at least nine people going, including some very young children. To be sure that everyone gets to experience what they want to, it is a good idea to each go your own way sometimes. When traveling with a large group, I suggest trying to plan at least one meal together each day. For that meal, be sure to make advance dining reservations since your group is larger. You can do this by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) or online at the
Disney Dining website. One restaurant that I enjoy with a larger group is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort.
Before or after that meal together, it's fun to catch an attraction all together. At each theme park, there are attractions that are great for the whole family. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, you can all ride Kilimanjaro Safari. At Magic Kingdom Park, take a spin on Prince Charming Regal Carousel. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, everyone can watch Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage together. At Epcot, you can all ride the Seas with Nemo and Friends. G
oing to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party together is a great idea. If you decide to split up during the party, come up with a place to meet to watch the parade and fireworks. The parade and fireworks are fun for the whole family and are extra magical at the party!
Finally, do take some time to enjoy your resort together. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is absolutely beautiful. Take some time to stroll around or be together by the pool. Even if it is a little chilly for the adults to be in the pool, the little ones will likely want to get in and splash around for a bit!
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Jennifer. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
