Hi Whitney-took your advice and booked the Cabins-so excited! I think it will be best for family of 5(DD11DS8DS6)Going in late feb so I dont think we will need too much pool time, which loop should we request? Taking auto train so we will have our car! THX

    Michelle:

I'm so glad that you feel confident in your decision now to book one of the cabins.  Like I said previously, I truly love Fort Wilderness and think it is a wonderful destination for those with larger families.

If you don't feel that you'll need a lot of pool time AND you have your car, I think you'll find any loop comfortable.  The 2700 and 2800 loops are nearer the Outpost for the Main Bus; loop 2500 is near the quiet pool and laundry; loop 2100 is closest to the Meadows Trading Post.

If I had to choose, I'd prefer 2100 not only because it is in closer walking distance to the Meadows but it is also nearest to Chip 'n' Dale's campfire singalong.  It also is probably one of the more wooded cabin loops whereas 2300 has been cleared out in the last few years and on the backside of the loop has far less trees than some of the others.

I hope you'll come back and let us know how your vacation goes!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
