Hi Whitney, first trip to WDW & Cruise for 15th Anniv, DS 9th Bday is now 3 weeks away!!! Yippee! Prev answ. regarding transport from resort to resort in the morning. my ?/Best way to get to Chef Mickey's from POFQ for 7:15am ADR?Panel very helpful

    Wendie:

You've got a lot to celebrate!

It is my understanding that buses bound for the Magic Kingdom start running at 6:30 a.m. daily.  (I say that because I'm usually just getting up at that time!)  And that's the bus you'll want to take.  And if I was in your shoes, I'd be at the bus stop promptly at 6:30 a.m.

My recommendation is to let your driver know your destination upon boarding the bus, and most of the time the driver will be able to accommodate you by dropping you directly off at the Contemporary Hotel for Chef Mickey's.  (Just keep in mind that sometimes it may not be possible, that's why I recommend the early bus, allowing an extra 5 to 10 minutes  for the short walk from the bus drop off to the front of the Contemporary.)  This also allows for time in case the bus stops at Port Orleans Riverside (it usually doesn't but for an early morning, if there aren't many guests, they might).

With all that said, though, make sure you talk to the front desk at check-in about your plans and/or the concierge.  You never know when something may change.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
