What white noise machines would not be approved for Disney Cruise? We are going on a Disney Alaska Cruise and don’t want to bring one that is going ti be confiscated.

    Ahoy Lauren!

Ahhhhh, Alaska! While every Disney Cruise I’ve taken has been magical, there’s truly something extraordinary about sailing through Alaska. The excursions were unforgettable, but honestly, simply standing on deck and soaking in the glaciers, waterfalls, and wildlife made the entire journey worthwhile. And of course, catching a glimpse of Minnie in her fluffy parka while sipping hot chocolate on deck was pure Disney magic!

As for your white noise machine, I completely understand bringing one along to make sleep a little easier. The good news is that they’re not on Disney Cruise Line’s prohibited list. However, your device will be inspected to make sure it’s safe for the ship’s electrical system. As long as it’s USB-powered or 110 volts and the cords are in good condition, you should have no issues. Safety is always the top priority for the crew, so they’ll just want to ensure everything checks out.

Fun fact: On Disney’s Alaskan cruises, the ship often sails right up to Endicott Arm or Tracy Arm Fjord, where you can see a majestic glacier. The captain even rotates the ship so every guest has a perfect view—keep your eyes peeled for harbor seals lounging on icebergs!

    Bon Voyage and Sweet Dreams!

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
