Hi Margaret,
Transportation around Walt Disney World Resort can be confusing at times, especially going from resort to resort. So, I am glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your inquiry. That's what we are here for.
There are several routes you could take, but no matter which you choose you will have to make a transfer since there are no direct routes between resorts, with the exception of the monorail. My first suggestion and most likely the easiest is to take a bus from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to Magic Kingdom. From there you will walk toward the boat launches directly in front of the main gate of the theme park and take the boat bound for Disney's Wilderness Lodge. An alternative route would be to take a bus from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios and from there transfer to a bus going to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. However, in my opinion this one could prove tricky if Disney's Hollywood Studios opens later than Magic Kingdom.
In regards to allowing enough time, I highly recommend budgeting approximately an hour for transportation. If you happen to arrive earlier than your reservation time, Whispering Canyon Cafe has Lincoln Logs for the kids to play with and/or you could possibly be seated early, if there is availability.
I wish you the most magical vacation!
