sprinkle some pixie dust for this birthday celebration, so let's take a look at the options you might consider.
First, you can
order a cake at participating restaurants to surprise your dad for his birthday. Pricing is subject to change, but at the time of this response a Mickey Mouse celebration cake that serves 4-6 people costs $45. You can order your cake when you make your dining reservation, and may choose from white, milk, or dark chocolate flavors. Just imagine how thrilled your dad will be to see a cake come out to the table complete with "Happy Birthday" written on the ears!
Next, you could set up an in-room celebration for your dad through
Magical Floral & Gifts. Browse the birthday packages to see which one your dad might like the most. I know I'd be positively tickled to see my age represented in giant balloons while I enjoyed some sweet treats and snacks. You can order by noon for same day delivery and pick up your package at the front desk of your resort hotel.
Finally, make sure you capture all the joy and whimsy of this birthday celebration by getting your pictures taken by
PhotoPass photographers. I can see it now: you, your dad, and the whole family standing in front of Cinderella Castle rocking your birthday celebration buttons! That would definitely be a photo destined for a frame or the family photo album.
I do have one last fun suggestion. If you have the time, make your way over to
Disney's Pop Century Resort. There is a fantastic photo opportunity for your family there. If you take the
Disney Skyliner and exit toward the Hippy Dippy Pool, you will see the main building called Classic Hall. There are giant numbers along the wall that represent the themed decades of this resort, and one is the 60s. You can gather your party here and pose by the giant 60 to celebrate your dad's special day!
