Coronado Springs Resort is one of the most underrated hotels in all of Walt Disney World. Its restaurants, like
Toledo and
Three Bridges, have some of the best dishes and vibes around. The rooms are absolutely breathtaking, especially in the Gran Destino Tower with its Dali-inspired design. The fact that it is a "Moderate Resort" makes it an excellent choice when you want a more luxurious vacay with good value.
Another amazing feature of Coronado Springs? Its location is nearly the same distance from all four theme parks! You'll find that the ride to
Disney Springs, a shopping area, will be a bit lengthier, but you can get to the theme parks in under 20 minutes. The closest theme park to Coronado Springs is Animal Kingdom--in fact, it's technically listed as being in the Animal Kingdom Resort area. The next closest theme parks would be EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom is farther out but, if you take the complimentary bus (or paid
Minnie Van Service), you'll avoid parking at the Transportation & Ticket Center, which is a big perk.
AN EXTRA GEM: In the
My Disney Experience app, you can see the approximate bus arrival times to the hotel and possible arrival to the theme parks. Select your Resort hotel reservation in the app and select “See Bus Times.” It's just an estimate, so it could arrive earlier or later, but it gives you a good idea!
