Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Patricia!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World! It looks like you will be arriving in a few days—WOO HOO! You are about to be surrounded by the MAGIC of Cinderella Castle, the music, the parades, and, of course, those unforgettable Mickey-shaped treats. Get ready for joy, laughter, and memories that will sparkle brighter than fireworks in the night sky!
So, are you ready for some TIGGER-ific news? Disney absolutely has
wheelchairs available, making sure every guest can experience the enchantment with comfort and ease! You will find rental locations conveniently placed near the entrances of all four theme parks, both water parks, and
Disney Springs, so you can pick one up right as you begin your adventure. Wheelchairs are rented on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations are not accepted, so it’s always a good idea to arrive early since quantities are limited. If you’re planning multiple park days, Disney offers a “length of stay” rental option between the Disney theme parks, which will save you a bit of money per day.
It’s helpful to know that wheelchairs rented inside the parks can’t leave the park with you. So, if you’re park hopping from
Magic Kingdom to
EPCOT, you’ll simply return your wheelchair at one park and then pick up a new one at the next. Cast Members are always nearby to guide you through the process and make it as smooth as possible.
Disney’s commitment to accessibility means no one has to miss a moment of the wonder. From start to finish, they make sure mobility needs don’t stand in the way of creating unforgettable memories.
If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
Wes
