I use a wheelchair (polio) also will have two special needs ladies with me ( autism & DD-seizures) we will have 1 assist with us as well. My question is how do we obtain entrance (wait free) onto rides?

    Hi Coni ~

If you are unable to wait in a regular queue, you can request a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) by going to Guest Relations at any of the theme parks. Cast Member (CM)s will ask you some questions so they can best accommodate your specific needs. They'll take your photo for the DAS, go over the terms and conditions and have you sign the card. If you plan to split up at any time, request a card for the other two ladies with special needs as well.

The DAS is not "wait free", however it allows Guests to wait in another location (wherever you would like - there is no designated place to wait) or do other things until their return time. Here are some additional details explaining how the DAS works. I've also included a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS.

Most queues at Disney are now mainstreamed to accommodate Guests traveling in wheelchairs or EVCs. If there are queues that require Guests in wheelchairs to enter through alternate queues, you can see a CM for assistance. Depending on the wait time, they may give you a slip of paper with a return time to come back to the attraction based on the current wait time.

Here is some information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.

Please let me know if you have other questions. I'm hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
