Are there wheel chairs that are available for use at the park

Hello, hello there, Kirstina! Welcome to planDisney, where we love helping our fellow Guests plan their magical Disney vacations. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

You're more than welcome to rent a wheelchair at the entrance of all four Theme Parks for a small daily or multi-day fee. The best part about wheelchair rentals at the Walt Disney World Resort is that you don't have to pay extra if you're visiting more than one park! If your tickets include the Park Hopper Option, all you need to do is return your wheelchair to the rental counter and then present your rental receipt at the next Theme Park you decide to visit.

Kirstina, please keep in mind that wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so I would encourage you to arrive early if you want to secure one. If you don't want to risk it, you're also welcome to bring your own wheelchair to the parks! However, I will say that the parks tend to run out of ECVs faster than wheelchairs. My dad needed to rent a wheelchair once, and we were still able to get one at around 2 p.m. That being said, that was back in September. The parks tend to get a bit more crowded in July, so plan accordingly!

I hope this helps, Kirstina. If you have any other questions for us, please don't hesitate to come right back here. We're always available and more than happy to help!

    Warm hugs,
