Wheel chair rental at Disney Magical Kingdom cost please?

    Hello, Mary,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. My goodness, your trip is just days away!  Your arrival is almost "practically perfect" with all that is happening at the Magic Kingdom. Not only is Tron Lightcycle/Run opening on April 4, 2023, but also the Magic Kingdom's firework show Happily Ever After is returning on April 3, 2023.

Wheelchair Rentals are available at the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. The daily cost to rent one at the theme parks is $12 a day. If you'd prefer to rent one for your length of stay, it will cost $10 a day. If you'd like to rent one at any of the water parks or Disney Springs, the daily cost is $12 a day, and a refundable $100 deposit is required. Please know that prices are subject to change.

You can also rent a wheelchair through the private company ScooterBug that Walt Disney World works with if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort.  The wheelchair will be delivered to your resort. The contact information for the company is on the Wheelchair Rental page.

Before you arrive, you may want to read over some further information about Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities to better understand how attractions and transportation work for guests who may need extra assistance.  However, I know from visiting Walt Disney World with my mother who was in a wheelchair how incredible the experience was for her.  Cast members were all so kind and helpful with her.  It was a wonderful trip for her and our family!

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
