What do I do with my camera while I'm on rides?

    Hi, Phillip!

    Great question!

Guests have some storage options while enjoying attractions at Walt Disney World. When I bring a camera to WDW, I use a camera bag with a secure zipper and bring it with me onto each and every ride in all four parks. Yes, even the thrill rides.

If your camera is in a bag of average size, you can place that bag into any compartment adjacent to your seat if needed. In Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, for example, the pouch is directly in front of you, about shin-height. There, if your bag is too big, you can slip your foot through the strap, placing the bag on the floor by your feet. On Mission Space, there is a compartment inside of the console in front of you, and on Soarin', there is a pouch directly under your seat..

Another option is to secure your camera in a locker. All four theme parks and both water parks offer lockers which you can access as often as you'd like all day for a one-time fee. If you park hop, show your rental receipt to a Cast Member at the second theme park to continue your locker rental there; your all-day rental fee is still valid.

Should your camera be in one of those lockers at a picture-perfect moment, be sure to use Disney PhotoPass Service so as not to miss a thing.

Have a fantastic trip, Phillip! Be sure to send additional questions as you think of them. We love to help!
