What do I have to do to add a Dining Plan if I plan on getting military discounted tickets? Will I even be able to? I would be buying them on base, and I know that we want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge for the time we are there. Any advice?

    Hi Melissa,

Good news!  I called the Walt Disney Travel Office on your behalf this evening to see how you could add a Disney Dining Plan to your upcoming vacation plans.  Fortunately, all you need to do is to call (407) W-DISNEY and identify yourself as a member of the military (active or retired).  You will then be extended the opportunity to add the Disney Dining Plan of your choice to your reservation at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  Typically guests who purchase their theme park tickets separately do not have this option but Disney is pleased to offer this exceptional opportunity to members of the armed forces. (Be prepared to present valid military ID upon check-in at your Disney resort).  Call several days in advance of your arrival to add and pay for the Disney Dining Plan.  It cannot be added at the last minute.

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip!  Don't hesitate to post additional questions if you'd like to have some suggestions for getting the most out of your Disney Dining Plan credits.  My family loves the Disney Dining Plan.  We use it every chance we get.  And Disney's Wilderness Lodge is our very favorite resort so I'd be happy to entertain questions on that topic as well.

Thank you for your service to our country!
