We’ve been to WDW several times but this will be our first Disney Cruise. Like WDW, are there any super-hot reservations which are impossible to get except a certain amount in advance (think Be Or Guest dinner reservations or Avatar fast passes). Thanks!

    Ahoy, Querida!

OK, so I kind of love this question. I love it because I've been there, trying to get those sometimes "hard-to-get-but-we've-got-to-get-them" reservations! I hope in your visits to Walt Disney World Resort that you've gotten to do most everything on your "must-do" Disney bucket list! While I can't think of many reservations that are equal to getting FastPass+ reservations for Avatar Flight of Passage on a Disney Cruise, there are a few favorites that come to mind that require advance planning:

    1) Castaway Cay's private cabanas are amazing, and are some of the most coveted reservations to secure. Concierge guests and Platinum Castaway Club members are able to book Port Adventures up to 120 days in advance, and are usually the first to reserve these awesome getaways.

    2) Dining reservations in the adult-only venues Palo and Remy are not super difficult to get, but if you have a specific evening or time slot you're looking at, it's best to plan ahead! On our last cruise, we tried Remy Brunch for the first time - it was AMAZING.

    3) Reservations at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (especially on Formal Night) are a hot ticket, and are usually booked by guests as soon as their reservation window opens. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a magical beauty salon making wishes come true for little princesses and knights!

    4) Certain spa treatments, such as the Ultimate Indulgence Package (a wonderful retreat for couples that includes facials and massages), are quite popular and can book quickly as well.

Other than the experiences I mentioned, you'll find that there's more to see and do on a Disney Cruise than you'll possibly have time to see and do. My best advice is to not try and do everything, but to take some time to simply relax and enjoy the ocean breezes, the delicious food and drinks, and the gorgeous ships themselves. (And make sure to grab a photo with Captain Mickey!)

    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
