We’ve been to WDW and our daughter has always had a stroller. We are visiting in May and she will now be 5 1/2. Although she doesn’t ride in a stroller anymore, we feel it might still be helpful in the parks. Any advice on strollers at this age?

    Hiya, Kelly!

We are so happy to hear from you again! You always have the best questions!

Strollers are extremely helpful at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! Though your independent almost-6-year-old daughter could probably handle the parks on her own, you may want to consider a stroller for part (if not, all) of your vacation. I’m traveling with my spunky nieces in May! They are both above 5-years-old and I am planning on renting a stroller. Their little legs can only walk so far and so fast, and having an easy place for a power-nap is definitely valuable to me!

Renting a stroller is convenient and simple at each of the theme parks and Disney Springs! However, if you would like to try not using a stroller, you can always go back to rent one later in the day!

I find that using a stroller can help reduce stress on little Mouseketeers. And, in turn, it reduces my stress as well!

Keep wishing on your evening star, Kelly! We always enjoy hearing from you at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    TTFN: Ta-ta for now!
