Hi Paul!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm visiting Walt Disney World Resort in May with a group of mom-friends and our babies, and am in the same boat. One friend is excitedly making
a lot of reservations and the rest of us are trying to figure out our new nap schedules around these plans.
Since you're all connected in
My Disney Experience, you'll all be able to make, modify and cancel FastPass+ reservations for and with each other. However, dining reservations are slightly different in that the person who made the plan is the only one who can full-on cancel or modify its time as the reservation is connected to their credit card.
What you
can do is remove yourself from any currently made dining plans that you do not wish to partake in, which will update the guest count for the original scheduler and the restaurant. This can only be done on a computer/desktop version of My Disney Experience. To do so, log-in, then head to the '
My Reservations and Tickets' section under the My Disney Experience tab all the way to the right side of the screen. You'll be able to see every ticket, meal and FastPass+ reservation that has your name assigned to it. Find the one(s) you want out of, then click 'Remove Me From This Reservation'.
Reservations that have 'Credit Card Guarantee' under them mean that a card has not be charged yet; rather there is a $10 per-person fee associated with this meal that will be charged to the original card if your entire party misses the reservation all together. You'll still be able to split the check however your group needs to split it,
dining plans and all.
I hope this helps in your planning. We'll See You Real Soon, Paul!
