"Welcome home," Shannon and welcome back to planDisney! It's so great to chat with a returning guest!
Shannon, as a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member who also modified lots of travel plans this year, I appreciate your question. I was so excited to see the return of
park hopping beginning in the new year and hope this is something you're looking forward to as well.
Since you have a
3-day ticket with the park hopper option, officially, once your first day has been redeemed, you'll have a total of five days to use all of your tickets. Now, based on your question, if you're only using one day of your 3-day ticket on this trip, you would NOT be able to use those last two days on a future adventure.
Now, Shannon, as this is likely not the news you were hoping for, I'm reminded of Hiro's big brother Tadashi from the movie Big Hero 6 when he said, "
Use that big brain of yours to think your way out. Look for a new angle!"... so I have an idea for you: If it fits in your budget, I would recommend purchasing a 1-day park ticket for this upcoming stay in January and saving your 3-day ticket for the next trip where you are able to use each of those tickets. Since you already have tickets in your account that you'll need to modify, I would recommend calling into the
Existing Tickets line at (407) 566-4985.
Shannon, I hope this helps as you're deciding how best to approach your next trip. Make sure you secure that
Disney Park Pass reservation as soon as you know which park you'll be enjoying. Shannon, I know it's been a difficult year and I truly hope this trip "home" fills your heart with Magic.
Please come on back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have,
Lauren
