    Hi there! We’ve been told multiple times that we can add the dining plan through My Disney Experience, but I can’t seem to figure out how. Is this correct, or can you still only add it by calling?

    Hi Emma,

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hear that you are trying to add one of the Disney Dining Plans. My family loves that the plans keep us on a food budget and allow so much flexibility with dining options.

    Sometimes I can modify our vacation package reservations online and, at other times, I have not been able to make changes in My Disney Experience. If you are able to make changes online, you should see a link to modify the reservation in/near the details of your vacation package reservation in My Disney Experience. If you do not see that link, call 407-934-7639. 

    Although my family has enjoyed the Disney Dining Plan, we loved having more meal entitlements on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan so that we could do a few signature meals. Now that the Disney Dining Plan Plus plan is available, it would allow us to do a table-service breakfast and table-service dinner on several days of our trip. We love dining with our favorite characters before the parks officially open and then ending the day with a delicious dinner.

    Emma, once you get that dining plan added, be sure to make advanced dining reservations. These are definitely a must-do, especially for character meal experiences!
