Greetings Mary!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a fantastic choice for a relaxing stay, and the Trinidad section is known for being a bit quieter, which sounds like it fits perfectly with your hopes for your upcoming vacation. The resort itself is spread out with vibrant, colorful buildings and a laid-back island vibe, making it a wonderful spot to unwind after a day in the parks. I like to sneak in a quick nap in one of the hammocks along the beach.
Regarding your request for a room in Trinidad, I believe that this section does have some rooms that are not connected. While I can’t provide an exact count of these rooms, I can share that during my stays at Caribbean Beach, I’ve never had any noise issues, even when I was in a room with a connecting door. The connecting doors at Disney resorts tend to be quite solid and heavy, providing good insulation against sound. This means that even if you end up in a connecting room, you should find it to be fairly quiet.
To further enhance my stay and ensure a peaceful night's sleep, I always bring a small white noise machine. It’s a handy travel companion that helps block out any noise from foot traffic or the general hustle and bustle that can sometimes come with being in a hotel. You might find it useful too, especially if you’re sensitive to sound like I am.
Since you have a specific room type in mind, I’d recommend stopping by the front desk at check-in to discuss your request. The Cast Members are always incredibly helpful and will do their best to accommodate your preferences.
And don’t forget to take advantage of the
Disney Skyliner Transportation! This unique and scenic mode of transportation makes getting to and from
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT a breeze, adding a bit of fun to your travel between parks.
Wishing you a wonderfully relaxing stay!
