We've stayed at the resorts before and wanted to do something a little different with our grandchildren (ages 10, 5 and 3).The camp sites look awesome, is there a place for tent campers to shower and use the facilities?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole!

It sounds like you are an incredibly cool grandmother. Your grandchildren are going to love The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. There are so many fun activities at this resort including fishing, horseback riding and archery. You can even make s'mores with Chip 'n' Dale. And, of course, you're only a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park.

For families staying in the resort loops with campsites, there are 15 air-conditioned comfort stations. The comfort stations have bathrooms, private showers, laundry rooms, ice machines, a house phone and resort information. You're never terribly far from a comfort station no matter where your campsite is. This arrangement makes for a very comfortable camping experience.

Don't hesitate to let us know if you need any additional information as you plan your trip. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would be happy to provide you with whatever advice you need to make your adventure with your grandchildren exciting and fun.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
