We've stayed @ CBR last 2 times. What recommendation for next time? Wonder about Wilderness lodge. Is the upgrade worth the money or should we look @ other moderate?

    Hi Amy!

Tough question...we've stayed at CBR several times, and have enjoyed our stay, but one thing about Walt Disney World is the vast amount of choices when it comes to your resort.  One of our favorite things to do is to try to stay at a 'new' (to us) place every time.  We find that by doing this we find favorite things about each resort, and they ALL seem to have something unique.  That being said, one of our absolute favorite moderate resorts is Port Orleans Riverside.  We LOVE it here!  Large majestic oaks, the Sassagoula River, butterfly garden, fishin' hole--the list goes on and on...

Wilderness Lodge is an amazing place to stay as well.  I think the deluxe v. moderate question is best solved with this question:  How much time are you planning on spending enjoying the resort v parks?  If you are just planning on sleeping and perhaps catching a quick breakfast, then I'd opt for the moderate (or even value) resorts.  If you are planning on investing time in exploring your resort, then I'd go with the Wilderness Lodge or another deluxe.

Maybe on this trip, you could book at a moderate and then take a side trip over to Wilderness Lodge to check it out?

Whatever you choose, I hope you have a magical vacation!
