Peter from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We've selected the LATE Dining Option (with fewer kids, hopefully), but we can't seem to find any info on the website about the live show and movie times. Will we be eating too late to see them?

Ahoy there, Peter! Welcome aboard planDisney!

Soon you will be welcomed aboard the Disney Wonder, which I have to admit is slightly more exciting than being welcomed to planDisney. However, I'm so glad you thought to cruise our way before you set off for adventure.

The second dinner seating is a wise choice for many cruisers. There are typically fewer children, there is more time to build up an appetite between lunch and dinner, and many guests prefer the less rushed pace between afternoon activities or Port Adventures and dinner time. Don't worry, Peter, because the Disney Cruise Line has you covered. When live performances are scheduled for the evening, there will two showings. The first performance will be prior to your dining time, and that will be the show you will want to see! After the show, you can then head to dinner.

If you haven't already, be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before boarding the ship. Once you step onboard the Disney Wonder, this handy app will be your guide to everything that is happening during your sailing. You'll be able to view when the shows, movies, and other forms of entertainment are happening on the daily activity schedule, and you will see that there will be a variety of movie times to fit your preferences (and your dining times).

The Navigator app also features a chat function, a way to get in touch with the Guest Services desk if you have any requests, and the opportunity to book your next Disney Cruise (usually with a special offer!) while onboard. That way you can say "See ya real soon!" to Captain Mickey when it's time for your sailing to end.

One last recommendation, before you board the ship! If you are looking for a completely child-free dining experience, I highly recommend snagging a reservation for the adult-exclusive Palo. The menus for both brunch and dinner are fantastic and the service is incredible. If you are interested in this popular offering and have not yet made a reservation, speak to the staff at Palo soon after boarding the ship. They will try their best to accommodate you.

Now, it's time to zip up those suitcases and have a fantastic vacation! I hope you'll cruise back to us at planDisney if you ever have more questions. Whether you are planning another cruise, or a Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resort visit, my pals and I would be happy to help!

    Bon Voyage,

    Adrianna
