We've been saving our pennies and quarters for the pressed penny machines but I just heard that they've changed the machines to not accept quarters, they provide the penny and it now costs $1. Is this the case all all machines through the parks?

Hi Kristin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I absolutely love that you have been saving your change for your vacation! I am the proud owner of many Pressed Penny folders and they each hold such special memories from our trips.

I'm happy to report that there are still plenty of pressed penny machines around the theme parks that accept quarters and pennies. One of my favorites that I got on my last trip to the Walt Disney World Resort was located near Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. I mean, who wouldn't want a pressed penny of Mickey gardening, right?! Pro tip: while you are at Sunshine Seasons, check out what desserts they have available. They have some of the prettiest and most creative cupcakes available there and they taste delicious, too!

Enjoy your upcoming vacation, Kristin! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
