    Hi. We’ve got a 7 am reservation at chef mickey’s and plan to head to MK right after. Will the MK parking lots be open that early? Or will we have to park at the contemporary and then move our car to TTC after breakfast? Thank you

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. You’re going to love breakfast at Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Make sure to have a Mickey Waffle (or 3) for me!

    We typically rent a car when we visit Walt Disney World Resort and I’m happy to say that, based on my experience, the parking plaza at Magic Kingdom Park is often open between 6:00 am and 6:30 am for other Guests with early morning breakfast dining reservations. I would recommend trying to park there and then taking other transportation to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. 

    If the parking lot isn’t open, then you will be able to head over to the Contemporary and park there during your meal. As you’ve noted, you’ll need to move your car and head back to the Transportation & Ticket Center once breakfast is over.
