    We've purchased the dining plan for our next trip but would like to do several meals that require 2 meal credits. The last time we purchased the deluxe meal plan it was way too much. Is it possible to upgrade 1 person in the party to the deluxe meal plan

    Hi Terry,

    I love the Disney Dining Plan too!  Unfortunately everybody in your reservation must have the same Dining Plan.  On a few occasions I have selected the Deluxe Dining Plan for my family, but for most of our vacations we find the Disney Dining Plan to meet our needs the best.

    If you find your dining style to be "in between" the Disney Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan there are two options to consider.  First you can consider paying out of pocket for a few of your least expensive meals and saving your meal credits for the most expensive ones.  The second option is to treat yourself and upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for everybody and then make additional reservations for meals that require 2 credits such as Dinner Shows, Signature Dining, or Private In-Room Dining experiences.
