Bright Suns, Susan!
So glad you are making the jump to lightspeed and traveling to Batuu at
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I'm thrilled to hear that you already have reservations for Savi’s Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Black Spire Outpost. We are looking forward to trying this in December on our holiday vacation, too.
Under the guidance of a group called the Gatherers,
Savi’s Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers allows travelers to create one-of-a-kind lightsabers. The Gatherers told me that they will absolutely accept two different forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, Disney Gift Cards, and even
Disney Rewards Redemption cards. So you have the option to use any form of payment or combination of payments to cover the build fee.
I like your idea of applying a
Disney Gift Card for payment and covering any additional amount on a secondary credit card. That’s why I like to gift Disney Gift Cards to my kiddos so they can use them towards experiences and merchandise that they really want...and that’s how you know it’s important to them when they will spend their money on something!
You can definitely fill your Jedi plate with plenty to stay busy at
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. From piloting the
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run to drinking blue milk from the Milk Stand to exploring the souvenir stands of Batuu, there’s so much to see and do. Here’s a planDisney tip: there are secrets throughout the Black Spire Outpost that can be unearthed using the
Play Disney Parks app, enabling you to take on jobs, interact with droids, and even translate various languages from across the galaxy. For more tips and tricks, check out this
planDisney Panel Guide to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Susan, with a Walt Disney World vacation in less than a month, it will feel like it’s here faster than the Millennium Falcon! But if you think of anything else, please blast back to planDisney.
May the Force be with you!
