We've made a few dinner reservations that we're afraid we won't be able to make, due to our baby's nap schedule. Is there a penalty for not showing up to dinner reservations?

    Hi Amy,

Some restaurants like Cinderella's Royal Table require a credit card when you make the reservation.  If you don't show up or cancel by a certain date, your credit card will be charged.

At most restaurants there is no penalty for not showing up to a dinner reservation.  HOWEVER, please, call as soon as you know you won't be able to make it.  There are other guests who are unable to make reservations because you're holding them.  Given travel time, you should at least know an hour before your reservation that you won't be making it - give dining a call and let them know so your table can be free for another guest.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
