Hi there, Hazel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. It will be here before you know it and since you’ve cruised with Captain Mickey previously, you know how
much fun a Disney Cruise is!
I can’t tell you how many times we have been onboard enjoying our vacation but realize that it is going by so quickly and we just want to continue the fun! My husband and I always consider staying onboard for the following sailing, but unfortunately, schedules have always required us to get back home! So, I LOVE your idea!! I checked with Disney Cruise Line because I, myself, wasn’t quite sure if there were any regulations that would not allow one to book the following sailing and found out that
it is possible to do so! You would need to check with the onboard Future Cruise Desk or Guest Services to check on availability and pricing, but as long as it is not a repositioning cruise and you are not returning to the origianal port you embarked at, you can certainly book the following cruise while onboard! Please note that you would be required to disembark and reembark at the departure port, and there is a good chance you would have to change staterooms, but it CAN BE DONE!! So, if it works into your schedule and the availability is there I say go for it!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure – or adventureS – at sea! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
