Seasons greetings, Michelle, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! While it may only be March, I think we could all use a little holiday cheer, so I’m thrilled to help you start planning your very merry getaway to the
Happiest Place on Earth!
November and December are my favorite months to visit the Disneyland Resort – from the delicious treats to the festive décor and holiday-themed attractions, you can’t help but feel the holiday cheer as soon as you step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.! Though Walt Disney World Resort offers
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the Disneyland Resort doesn’t currently offer any after-hours events during the holidays. However, that doesn’t mean the Disneyland Resort is short on holiday magic – in fact, the Disneyland Resort includes tons of holiday fun with your theme-park admission at both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park! Here are a few of my favorite ways to celebrate the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort:
1.
A Christmas Fantasy Parade – I am so excited for you to experience this magical holiday parade – it’s my favorite parade at Disneyland Resort! Grab a cup of hot chocolate and find a cozy spot on Main Street, U.S.A. to take it all in!
2.
Disney Festival of Holidays – Disney California Adventure Park offers plenty of holiday magic, too, including this festive seasonal celebration, full of multicultural music, food, and plenty of fun!
3.
Meet Santa Claus – Everyone’s favorite jolly ol’ elf makes stops inside both theme parks, in fact, you can find him at
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park, or in Pooh’s thotful spot at Disneyland Park. Track him down with the
Disneyland app!
4.
“it’s a small world” Holiday – This is one of my favorite holiday attraction overlays in the parks. Plus, you won’t want to miss the “it’s a small world” Holiday Lighting, which takes place every 30 minutes in the evening.
5.
Believe…In Holiday Magic Fireworks Spectacular – There’s no better way to end the night than by viewing this holiday fireworks show. Stay around for the finale, as snow falls on parts of Main Street, U.S.A., “it’s a small world” Holiday in Fantasyland, and near Rivers of America.
I hope this helps you start mapping out your magical holiday adventures, Michelle!
Wishing you merry magic!
Kristin
