HI, We've been to Disney a ton of times but we always drove and had a car to go back and forth to the parks. We're coming down in a week and this time we'll be flying. Does the bus transportation pick up guests 45 min before extra magic hours?

    Hi Emily!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I think you'll find that you won't really miss having your vehicle with you at Walt Disney World Resort. We sometimes rent a car, but usually we don't have one. With Disney's Magical Express to get us from Orlando International Airport to our resort, we kind of enjoy staying in the "Disney Bubble" for the entire vacation. The addition of the new resort parking fee makes it even more economical to leave the car behind.

The Walt Disney World Transportation system does begin running early enough to get Guests to the morning Extra Magic Hours. They say the buses begin 45 minutes prior to park opening, but normally they will start closer to an hour before. When there are Extra Magic Hours in the morning, the buses begin 45 minutes to an hour prior to that start time. It's always a good idea to check with your front desk to confirm the bus schedules.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions as you are planning your trip.
