We’ve been to Disney before but never stayed onsite. When going from resort to the parks are the buses separated to each park? Or is it one bus & you get off at the park you choose? I hope this makes sense! Thanks!

Hello Angie, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

I am so excited to hear that you will be a guest at a Disney Resort Hotel during your next visit. There is nothing like staying on Disney property. Each and every resort is expertly themed. You will have an amazing time staying so close to the magic.

There are many perks that come with staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, but one of the most convenient things is the complimentary Disney Resort Transportation. Depending on which resort you choose, and which theme park you plan to visit, you may travel by monorail, bus or boat. If you are traveling by bus, you will find they are designated for a specific destination. Did you know that you can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to tell you when a particular bus will arrive to take you to a theme park or Disney Springs? I have found this to be very helpful when I am on my way to the resort bus stop. Buses typically arrive every 20 minutes to take guests to their destinations for the day. There are monitors posted in the bus stop area that will tell you when a bus will arrive to take guests to the Magic Kingdom or another theme park. If you have a question about the final destination for a bus, you can always ask the driver before you board.

When you are planning to return from a theme park or Disney Springs, you will see a designated bus stop for each resort. Simply make note of your resort’s bus stop number and return there at the end of the day and a bus will deliver you back to your resort.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
