Hey there, Katie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for logging in a great question about such an awesome itinerary. The Disney Magic's 7-night sailing to
Northern Europe will surely be full of excitement and adventure for you and your family. The end of May in these parts of Europe can still be a bit tricky when it comes to weather predictions. Temperatures on average lean more on the cooler side around this time, so it's great for folks who prefer the cooler temps to the hot (and very hot). My family and I sailed to Northern Europe a few years ago in July, and it was indeed very hot. Surprisingly though, we ended up with rain (and a good dose of humidity) in one of the ports that we visited. I'm glad that our Disney Port Adventure guides came prepared and even brought us Disney ponchos!
Towards May and June, the weather does begin to warm up. You'll be glad to know that when the temperature dips below 75 degrees, the swimming pools on the Disney ships are kept warm and heated. Quite a few guests actually enjoy the hot tubs -- even in the cooler temperatures. I would suggest having a robe or a towel within arms reach for a quick wrap, once you decide to step out of the water :-). The outdoor spaces will be open, and I'm sure you'll still find guests using the pools at different times of the day.
Be sure to pack some extra layers so that you can take your time to enjoy yourself out on the decks. The crisp air feels refreshing and might be nice as you sip a hot beverage at the adult exclusive areas like the
Cove Cafe. And they have complimentary yummy treats that change every few hours if you get the munchies.
I hope that helps, Katie. Have a great day! ~Dolly
