Hi Jena,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Pop Century has been my family's favorite value resort for many years, and the addition of the
Skyliner makes it even better!
Earlier this month, we stayed at Pop for the first time since the Skyliner opened and we loved the ease of gliding to
Epcot in just minutes from the resort.
The buildings closest to the Hippy Dippy Pool, Classic Hall (location of the
Everything POP Shopping and Dining, the reception lobby and the bus stops) and the Skyliner are mostly preferred rooms. Those include the ones themed to the 1960s and some of the 1950s and 1970s.
For years, my favorite Pop Century rooms have been in Building 2 in the '50s section. It is the location I always select during
online check-in. They are standard rooms, but convenient to Classic Hall and are among the standard rooms closest to the Skyliner station, located on the bridge between Pop Century and
Art of Animation. I find that building more convenient than those in the '80s and '90s section. The building also is adjacent to the
Bowling Pool, one of the two quiet pools at the resort.
Speaking of convenience, did you know that you can use the
My Disney Experience app for
mobile ordering food and beverages from the Everything POP food court? It's a fast and simple way to get a sandwich, an order of pasta, all-day breakfast or a piece of the resort's signature Tie-Dye Cheesecake.
Wishing you a magical visit, Jena. Please let us know if we can offer any other tips or recommendations for you as you finalize your plans. Enjoy!
Wilma
