    we've booked a royal room at Port Orleans Riverside but we're flying blind. I can't find a whole lot of specifics on this room type - anyone stayed here before that can give a better description?

    Hi Kelly!

    I recommend going to the independent website PortOrleans.Org.  That's a website by a fan of Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter for fans!  It has a lot of great information on the resort, including information and pictures on the new Royal Rooms.  Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite Disney Moderate Resort and I use this website all of the time; the owner does a great job keeping it up to date with all of the changes at the resort.  If you use Google with "PortOrleans.org Royal Rooms" it will take you right to the page.
