We’ve booked our park reservations for our trip to WDW and wondered if these remain valid if you exit a park and return the same day? If we booked Magic Kingdom could we go back to the hotel (for our little ones to rest) and re-enter later on? Helly

    Hello Helly!

I can tell that you are getting excited as you plan for your Walt Disney World vacation! You are well on your way to your Walt Disney World vacation if you have made your theme park reservations for your first park of the day for each day of your vacation.

Yes, with a standard or base Walt Disney World ticket, you can leave the park to go to your Walt Disney World Resort to rest and return to the same park later that same day. There are only a few days during the year (typically the Christmas holiday and the days around it) where a park will reach capacity and limit entry into that park. There is no charge for returning to a park on the same day. There is so much to do and see at the Magic Kingdom Park, especially with the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration throughout this year! I would recommend returning to your Resort in the middle of the day to rest and then return to that same theme park for evening fireworks, especially if you have young children.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is magical for you and your family!
