Hi, we've booked our first trip to DisneyWorld as a family ŵith my little girl who will be 2.5 years old when we visit. im trying to prepare as much as possible, do you think she'll be too young for trading pins? Or any tips on gifts/merchandise fo

Hi Rachel and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You are going to have so much fun during your first family visit to Walt Disney World.

I do feel as though your daughter will be a little too young to fully enjoy pin trading at this moment in time. My son first began pin trading when he was 6 years-old and even though he is now almost a teenager, he still loves doing so during each and every trip.

As an alternative, I would suggest purchasing an autograph book when you arrive at Walt Disney World which has a space for adding a photograph on each page. Then, each time that you meet a Disney character, you can have a photograph taken and collect an autograph. When you get home, you can print off a photograph of your daughter with each character and attach it to the corresponding page of your autograph book. This will not only be a great keepsake but will also be something which you and your daughter can assemble together after your stay.

If I can be of any further help with the planning of your upcoming trip, please do not hesitate to ask another question.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
