Hello, we've booked a 8-days cruise in the meditarinee on the Disney Magic. Can you tell us the dresscode during the dinners on the ship? We're comming from the Netherlands and we like to know what kind of clothes we have to take with us. 1 child 9 yrs thx

    Welcome aboard, Janine!

The Mediterranean cruise aboard the Disney Magic is a memorable voyage. Our son was 10 and loved the ports of call as well as the kid activities aboard the ship.

To help with your packing, you should know that most nights are cruise casual. Cruise casual indicates that you can wear comfortable clothes to the dining room with the exception of shorts, tank tops and swim wear.

Children should also adhere to this dress code. Our son wears khaki pants to dinner on cruise casual nights. Girls can wear pants or a summer dress. Denim jeans are okay too.

There will be one formal night to coincide with the Captain's Gala (a meet 'n' greet opportunity with the Captain). On this night, you should dress in your finest attire! Yes, some women will be in gowns but most will be in cocktail dresses. On this evening, our son wears dark pants as well as a shirt with a tie. Some men will be in tuxes but most will wear a suit or at least shirt/tie with dress slacks.

If you dine at Palo, you'll also want to wear more dressy attire to an evening dinner in this adults-only restaurant.

I wish your family a magical voyage!
