Hello! We've booked into the Crystal Palace for our sons 6th birthday. How do we go about getting him a birthday cake brought out to him? Thank you :)

    Hi Zoe!

How exciting!  There is no better place to celebrate a birthday than at Walt Disney World!  The Crystal Palace is a fantastic character dining experience.  Not only is the food delicious, but Pooh and Friends are so much fun!

There are a couple of options for a celebration cake if you'd like to do a little something extra for your son's birthday.  A standard Mickey Mouse celebration cake can be ordered and brought to your table.  It's recommended that this be done in advance because it is based on availability, but it can be requested when you arrive.  These cakes are currently $35 plus tax and cannot be personalized.

Another option is for a customized cake, which we have done several times.  These cakes are beautiful, elaborate and delicious!  You choose the theme, cake flavor, filling flavor and any personalization you'd like.  My favorite customized cake was for a combined birthday dinner for my kids and it was Lilo & Stitch themed.  It had a beautiful image from the movie on top and the cake was decorated to look like the ocean.  It even had white chocolate seashells along the bottom and edible sand!  These specialty cakes start from $75 depending on the options you choose.  Any leftovers, which I'm sure there will be, will be boxed up for you to take back to your Resort.  These cakes must be ordered at least 72 hours in advance.

    Have a magical day!
