Welcome to planDisney Leslie!
I am so envious of your
Alaskan Cruise plans! It is an amazing experience starting with a stay in
Vancouver. This is such a great city! Plan time to stroll or bike Stanley Park, then hop on a bus to conquer the Capilano Suspension Bridge. So much adventure before even stepping foot on the beautiful
Disney Wonder.
You will want to check with your specific hotel about the luggage service, as this will be a service provided by the hotel. When I was in Vancouver, the hotel I stayed at actually came to my room to retrieve my luggage and deliver to the cruise terminal, but each hotel will handle this differently. Many hotels are within walking distance, so hopefully you are staying close to Canada Place.
When
packing for Alaska, be ready for all kinds of weather. Even if the days are on the warmer side, it definitely cools down as the evening approaches. Dressing in layers is always a good idea. I found guests dressed much more casually on the Alaskan itinerary, so jeans, sweaters, and hoodies will be perfect for most of your cruise. You may want to bring something a bit dressier if planning on Palo for brunch or dinner.
Wishing you the most magical of cruises as you sail to the beautiful state of Alaska! Bon Voyage!
