Hi Kinsey!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
There really is something so special about visiting
Walt Disney World during the holiday season when there are Christmas decorations adorning every corner. Immediately following the last scheduled Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, typically held on October 31st,
Magic Kingdom Park will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland. All the other decorations will go up during the month of November and will be mostly in place by Thanksgiving. I would recommend
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which will be held at Magic Kingdom Park on select nights throughout November and December. This is a special ticketed event where you will enjoy reduced crowds, holiday entertainment and Cinderella Castle looking so beautiful it will take your breath away!
It is also worth visiting some of the resort hotels, just to see the decorations. I love to see the Christmas tree that dominates the spectacular lobby at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and the gingerbread house (yes, real gingerbread!) in the lobby of
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I'm sure you will love the most magical time of the year at Walt Disney World, and if you have any other questions about visiting during the holiday season, please come back and ask us - we will be very happy to help you plan your vacation.
