Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan! I’m so glad you’re hEAR to talk about snacks! There’s nothing I like more than walking into a Disney Park and trying all the newest bites. Not to mention my old favorites!
If we’re talking favorite spends for
snack credits, I always love the famous Dole Whip or Orange Bird Citrus Swirl! It’s something I can’t get elsewhere, and the floats are an amazing value. If you’re at Epcot during a Festival, the Outdoor Kitchens offer themed fare to several countries with adventurous tastes or specialized beverages. These are usually some of the best buys in the Parks. You can save a breakfast credit to downgrade into snacks later if you use a single snack credit on a breakfast-time fruit smoothie at Auntie Gravity’s in Tomorrowland; these are very large and can fill your belly in the mornings! Seasonal milkshakes in Disney’s Hollywood Studios follow this same plan, as well. If you need a sit down snack, any themed cupcake in the Resorts or Parks will be a good pick. They often cost over $5 alone and are simply beautiful. I share one with my 2 kids because of their size. I wouldn’t waste your credit on a bottle of water when you can obtain a free cup of ice water from any walk-up window in the Parks; our family brings water bottles wherever we go. For packaged snacks that travel well in backpacks or in a suitcase going home, Goofy’s Gummies or Chip N Dale Snack Mixes are a good option. Likewise, Rice Krispie Treats are always a good purchase for my family because they are shareable and travel well in plastic.
Now I’m all hungry after reminding myself of my favorite snack credit picks. I might as well go hang out with Pooh Bear and raid his Hunny stash. If I can help you with anything else, please let me know. TTFN, TaTaForNow! ~ Lindsey P.
