Hi, Angie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
For me, the
Memory Maker at
Walt Disney World Resort really is a must-have addition. Although I love to take my own photos, I was sold on the Memory Maker during our family’s first Walt Disney World Resort vacation (for my daughter’s third birthday) when the SD card in my digital camera became corrupted and we lost all of our photos. Luckily someone had recommended the advance purchase for the Memory Maker, so we had those photos as our backups. Since then, we’ve never taken a Walt Disney World Resort vacation without it.
Unfortunately, the photos from the
Disney PhotoPass Photographers and Memory Maker purchased at Walt Disney World Resort will not transfer to
Disneyland Resort. The last time I visited Disneyland Resort, I purchased the
Disney MaxPass for each day of our trip, and that purchase included the photos from attractions and the
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park photographers, too. However, those photos were only accessible through my
Disneyland mobile app or by logging into the
Disneyland Resort PhotoPass site.
The only way you would have access to both sets of photos under one umbrella would be with the
Disney Premier Passport which is the Annual Pass option that covers both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. If you plan to visit Parks on both coasts over the coming year, though, that might be an option for you to look into.
Enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Angie! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan.
Amy
